At Your Own Risk

Good Morning,

It is great to be back in the U.S., while in Mexico my daughter and I had the unfortunate adventure of experiencing a car accident. Thankfully, no one was injured.  We make choices every day to determine what is worth the risk. A definition of risk is: A situation involving a hazard or danger. You hear it all the time, “Increases your risk of.”  Do those words affect your decisions?  Every time you choose a soft drink, you are choosing gum disease. Every day you choose not to exercise or to eat right, you are choosing heart disease, diabetes, obesity.  Every cigarette you choose, you are choosing cancer. Is it worth the risk?  Your Turn has been excited to celebrate the women that have been able to reduce or avoid medication by making the choice to avoid the risks.

This month Gail Walters, a certified personal trainer and life wellness coach, will discuss making SMART Goals that will reduce your risk of relapsing back in to the same patterns that are detrimental to your health.
