Good morning ladies,

What is your tribe?

Honesty can be hard to come by in the society we live in. It seems so many of us are trying, at different times of the day, in certain company we keep to be something more, less, happier, savvier than we really are. It seems we aren’t enough just as we are. Do you feel that way; do you feel as though it is a challenge just being who you are? I do.

Be this way to fit in here, be that way to fit in there, soft spoken with that crowd, loud and wild with the other; when and where can we be just as we are and be accepted? Within Your Turn, that’s where.

Yesterday morning I was with a group of YT Inspirators, Runners of Kalamazoo, and I was just me. We laughed because the bathrooms are all locked up and I felt free enough to say how afraid I was of that because I just may have to potty in the woods. There were no, “OMG, you do that?”, I had no fear of being dismissed. There was much laughter about it and a fun discussion ensued but no pretending. Later as I spent some time one on one with another Inspirator she was honest with me about her current ability and the desire to do more but her mind was telling her she couldn’t, no fear; just truth and open acceptance with one another.

Your Turn is a tribe and I love being in it.
